About Me
Hey!
I'm Okala :) I live in Lincolnshire where I work as a freelance copywriter. I am a writer of short stories and screenplays. In my spare time I can mostly be found wowing crowds of tourists with my six full push-ups (nose to the floor). I also do a little bit of stand-up comedy, make music/play guitar, mess around with videogames, like to cook, explore the world, hunt for ghosts, and tell exciting jokes (that you will definitely enjoy).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camping in the Arizonan desert with a dude called Scott Major after we got drunk and started talking about finding the 'real Arizona'
At night we could hear coyote's way-off in the hills and one morning Scott woke me to see a bunch of them crossing our line of vision about fifteen metres from our tent.
That's not even the best part - there was a Hilton Hotel 2 miles off the nearest road and so we used to go there to use the swimming pool and hang out with people in the various hut tubs. It was rad 'till the security guys said they knew what we were doing and if we left they wouldn't kick our asses.
I have plenty of memories but this one always stands out: two weeks into my first ever solo journey away from home, hanging out with people who weren't from my small town, making up the story as it went along.
Teach, Learn, Share
I just want to meet lovely people - people who can teach me cool things, people who can't. Just good folk.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to exchange English, guitar playing, how to stand upright on a skateboard, the history of Mongolia, and the four recipes I can cook.
Countries I’ve Visited
