About Me

I am an easy-going, down-to-earth guy who wants to exchange his home, his cooking skills, his roomate, and his experience with people curious to meet me and ask me whatever they wish or need to know about my country, city, or myself. I was born in Marrakesh and you can say I am a true local here, so my advice can come in useful. Me and my roomate Adnan will welcome you and offer what we can and what is within our free time since we're setting up our private business and are often away from the flat but not too far. Happy to meet you, welcome you and spend time with you so yallah!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As much as I love to travel myself, I'm working on my life here and now and it's therefore easier to simply invite the world to my home if I can't go around exploring it myself atm. I don't want my English to get rusty and it's a nice escape to have to chat or share a meal with someone who has different topics, different lifestyle, routine and view on anything we end up talking about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know how being married and unmarried looks like

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to prepare a tagine dish, how to make a Moroccan Whiskey, and how to navigate through Marrakesh.
In exchange, I'm curious to try what my guest suggests when it comes to food, activities, and topics, and of course, if my time and social battery allows it. Having someone to chat in English with is already a great form of exchange I'll be getting in return!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My guests can get a cozy couch with plenty of cushions to choose from. They'll have the freedom to come and go as they wish since there's a spare key. They'll have an experience of tasting a tagine and learning how to cook it themselves, and they'll get to try Moroccan Whiskey (mix of green and mint tea), and be entertained by the way we Moroccans pour it into the glass (wait and see) : )
Adnan and me are there for any questions and concerns, but we do ask of you to respect some of the few house rules among which is our request to avoid walking on the carpet in the living room in your shoes. So that's the part of the house where the shoes should be off.
