I enjoy meeting people and hanging out with them, as frequently as I am able. I think adventure is quite possibly the greatest tool for traveling. I am generally on a tight budget, but I love trips with friends and family!

I like to be spontaneous and go on adventures. Even across the US, it has been fun to compare differences, accents, and ways of life. I love experiencing differences/similarities cross-culturally and across the states.

I work out usually 1-2x per day (running, yoga, weight lifting,). I love being outside in nice weather. Enjoy camping, hiking, road trips, and trying new things. Love BBQ

could write a lot about me and my life, but I think that's part of meeting someone, creating our own perspectives, so I'll just write what you need to know before we can meet each other.

I love making friends, I can talk for hours about several topics, but I'm a good listener too, I can be silly or serious, that depends on the person and circumstances. I'm funny, no the kind of person who tells good jokes, but I can make you smile for sure. I'm doing my best to feel life in every single way. I enjoy everything, we can share a coffee, we can go to a Cinema or a museum. I'm open-minded, easy-going, helpful, and honest, but I repeat, meet me and make your own opinion.

Indie folk. Alternative. Musicals / show tunes. Classic rock, pop, etc. I generally say I like songs, not bands, cause I can be particular - however, I do like Bright Eyes and Kings of Leon an awful lot.

CAIROKEE Band (Local Egyptian Band, the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Jesus Christ Superstar), the Late '80s through mid 90's movies are great. I watch a lot of documentaries on Netflix one of my favorites. You should definitely watch the movie "Happy."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thrifting, exercising, November Project, festivals, free things, finding money on the ground (not kidding), baking, donuts, trying local restaurants and coffee shops, biking, October and Halloween (I seriously love love love Halloween), bulldogs of all varieties, being outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, and of course TRAVEL. I used to do a lot of road trips, but it takes so long to get anywhere from the Midwest, now I fly and rent a car to do road trip loops.

Autumn is my favorite season. Mmm, pumpkin-flavored everything..

I started using this website as a way to save money while traveling. It's evolved into so much more. I love it when I click with a surfer and we become instant friends, if only for an afternoon.

I highly recommend Couchsurfing to anyone who wants to learn more about what a place is really like, how to avoid tourist traps, and what is worth seeing, tasting, exploring, etc. People are often skeptical when I tell them I do Couchsurfing, so I'd love more people to try it out and realize the world's not such a scary place.
