Music, Movies, and Books

Music
I listen to a bit of everything, depending on the season of my soul.
From old Arabic classics (Fairouz, Abdel Halim) to French indie, jazz, and ambient instrumental when I need to focus or dream. I love artists who tell stories through their sound, whether it’s the raw emotion in Damien Rice, the depth of Yiruma’s piano, or the poetry in Souad Massi’s voice. Lately, I’ve been playing a lot of fusion genres, something between nostalgia and experimentation.

Movies
Movies that stay with you after the credits roll, that’s what I like.
Some favorites: In the Mood for Love, Before Sunrise, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Call Me By Your Name, Incendies, Her, 6 Days (Egyptian).
I appreciate films that don’t force answers, but make you feel things quietly, like walking into someone else’s memory.

Books
I read across genres, poetry, philosophy, travel journals, and personal essays. Some books I come back to again and again:
The Prophet by Gibran, Letters to a Young Poet by Rilke, L’étranger by Camus, A Man Called Ove, and most recently, Midnight Library by Matt Haig. I also write myself, poetry, letters, and stories between memory and fiction.

Books are my way of traveling inward, music helps me breathe, and movies… they remind me that sometimes life is just a beautiful montage we haven’t edited yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote and published my first book, a poetic journey woven from real emotions, imagined conversations, and the quiet in-betweens of love and loss. It started with a single memory, then became a collection of dreamy chapters that blend storytelling, reflection, and a deep curiosity for how we love, wait, and remember.

What makes it amazing to me isn’t just finishing it, but hearing from people, in Morocco, Italy, even strangers online, who felt seen between the lines. That connection, built through words, is the most beautiful part of this journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach
I can share what I know about creative writing, storytelling, brand design, and publishing a book from the heart. I also love helping people express their emotions through words, whether in Arabic, French, or English. And if you're curious about Morocco, I can guide you through its layers, not just places, but feelings.

Learn
I’m always open to learning, especially about people’s cultures, routines, philosophies, and the quiet rituals that make life meaningful. I'm curious about how others deal with love, distance, creativity, and silence. Also: photography tips, music from your country, and local ways of thinking.

Share
Conversations that last longer than coffee. Beach walks. Stories with no ending yet. Ideas. Laughter. Maybe even a page of my book if you ask nicely.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, deep listening, and a calm, respectful presence. I can share stories from Morocco and my travels, cook a simple Moroccan meal if you’re curious, or show you some of my writing (if you’re into books, art, or personal storytelling). I love exchanging music, ideas, and perspectives, whether over breakfast or during a walk through our city.

I always try to leave a good memory behind, a moment of stillness, a page of a story, or a meaningful conversation that stays.
