I've couch surfed quite a bit. I hitchhiked the country on my own version of a "Walk About" for over a year. About myself, I'm an artistic, humorous, relaxed and grounded guy. I'm easy going and appreciative.

Though I prefer to let people get to know me when we meet, I am a man of many artistic talents. I am a swing and blues dancer, a chef, a musician, a songwriter, an event organizer and much more. I decided back in February to pull up stakes from my life and go traveling for at least a year.
I love living life not knowing what will come next and trusting that all will work out just as it is supposed to. I love traveling and have travelled all over the US for dance (and when I was in a traveling Beach Boys band).
I have already written one book and am looking to meet and document all the happenings from this long journey. I am very interested to meet all the different types of people along the way and see where this journey takes me next. All in all, I feel if you really want to make a change in life, it sometimes helps to make a big change.

PHILOSOPHY

In life, I put myself out there and trust the best will happen. This is why I am doing this. I don't have much money, but I've got a lot of internal gifts. And I love watching life surprise me in beautiful ways.

I am a great guy to have at your place. I have been traveling for dance for so long, staying at people's houses that I know how to be a good house guest. I'm fun, have a great sense of humor, play music and, what most people enjoy, am a Chef and know how to cook delicious food.

Nothing from this site, though as I mentioned above, I've been couch surfing for years now.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sting, Muse, Elton John are my top three. I'm a musician, I love all types of music.
Movies: Movie buff so most movies are in for me. Favorite: The Shawshank redemption.
Books: I listen to a lot of lectures. I wish books had previews like movies. it would help me read them more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Produced an album, came in 3rd in an international swing dance championship, dove with great white sharks, been skydiving, met Sting (a long time dream of mine) through winning a contest on the radio, written a book, been bungee jumping and in a hot air balloon, traveled through England with my soccer team, been all over the country for dance, have thrown multiple large dance events that I have personally created and which have been highly successful.
Of course this is all a few things. Some of my favorite things are the sweet surprises that happen every day.
