Born and raised in Saudi Arabia - definitely can withstand the global warming threat, did my undergraduate in England at Southampton and since have found a new home in this lovely and historic town called Cambridge.

During the day I work on designing chips for the device you are holding in your hand right now (smartphones / tablets) while at night I love to go for dancing (mainly Salsa - or making a fool of myself), absolutely enjoy baking sweet goods, the daily chores (pleasures of living alone), reading (current partner is The Rosie Project) and a tiny bit of video gaming or Netflix! (Just tiny).

I usually travel with friends but have recently started solo surfing which I definitely do enjoy - although would love to be in the company of other solo travellers to share, and enjoy the city!

Interests

One thing I will never shut about is space, whether that be about exploration of stars, how planets came about, or just pure fascination of what lies out there.

Besides that I recently started learning Salsa and it is the best thing I have ever done, something so different to my daily work and for those few hours I pack up all my worries and solely enjoy dancing/socialising. Would be more than happy to share what I have learned.

I also bake a lot to fill up my sweet cravings, I have done cheesecakes, carrot cake, fruit cakes, cookies, muffins, brownies and even tried macaroons once (never again though! They are a tough beast).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in Cyprus - all my life I had lived above the sea and this was the first time I had the opportunity to explore and be under the sea .. explored under water caves, saw absolutely stunning fishes, and almost ruined my ears due to the pressure!
