About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world, feel the wind at my back and the sun on my face. To live. Not just exist.
ABOUT ME
Hallo! I'm an Australian guy who recently just set out on his first (incredibly overdue) international trip. I currently live in Vancouver, British Columbia, but am hoping to move on somewhere else in Canada during the winter months.
My friends describe me as a funny guy, I love to have fun and learn about new things, particularly about other cultures and languages. I am a firm believer in trying everything at least once, and that a simple act of kindness can go a long way.
PHILOSOPHY
"Collect moments, not things"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm really new to the whole Couchsurfing Project. I have hosted a few travelers before both back home and here in Vancouver but that kind of just happened naturally, I had not used the website. I intend on hosting mostly in the meantime but really wish to surf a few couches during my eventual trip to Europe!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted quite a few travelers both back home in Australia and in my small (but totally bitchin') pad in Canada.
I have never surfed myself but intend to once I start moving again.
Interests
Camping, reading, music, learning about different cultures / languages and making new mates!

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS: Anything by Neil Gaiman or Terry Pratchett! George R. R. Martin, Garth Nix, too many to list!
MUSIC: Florence + the Machine is my favourite band. I love a mix of indie pop/rock, alternative, house, EDM, glitch. There's a bit of variety here!
MOVIES: Never too old for a Disney flick! Apart from that whatever isn't terrible.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left Australia with 1000 dollars and carved a life out for myself in Vancouver, though a little less exciting that most of what you'll find in this wee box on others profile's. I am proud of what I had accomplished. Hopefully in the near future I may add something more... noteworthy.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you many things. Most of them terrible, some of them useful. For example, can you tie up a candy snake using nothing but your tongue? Can you make a sheesha head? Can you curse in Arabic?
I can offer you all of this and more. Yep.
