About Me

Hey there! I'm Abdulhalim, an avid traveler and adventure enthusiast from Syria and I live in Budapest, Hungary. I believe that the best way to experience a new place is through the eyes of a local, which is why I'm excited to be part of the Couchsurfing community.

A Little About Me:
Currently, I'm pursuing my PhD studies in communication engineering (6G network), which keeps me busy most of the time. However, I am finishing in September (two months from now), and I always make sure to make time for the things I enjoy, such as traveling, reading, cooking, hiking in nature, or exploring local markets.

My Travel Philosophy:
I see travel as a way to broaden my horizons and connect with people from all walks of life. I love sharing stories, learning about different cultures, and experiencing the world beyond the typical tourist spots. For me, it's all about the connections and the unique experiences that come with meeting new people.
CS is not just about how to get a free place to sleep. It's much more. It's about sharing your experience.

Hobbies & Interests:
Hiking and Nature: I love being outdoors and exploring natural landscapes.
Cooking and Food: I'm a foodie at heart and enjoy both eating and cooking. I'm always up for a cooking session and love learning new recipes from different cultures.
Photography: Capturing the beauty of the places I visit is a passion of mine.
