I'm a pretty cool guy that loves to travel and meet new people. I firmly believe that the best travel experience is when it is shared with a local of the city, state or country one visits. I work for a company that is rapidly growing. I love what I do because the end result of seeing people progress is rewarding. I currently live in the USA but looking to eventually move out of the country!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A fellow friend and traveler told me to check out CS because I like to meet people and experience countries from a cultural perspective. I was very skeptical but my first CS experience was amazing. CS has opened me up to having friends all over the world. I'm slowly starting to feel like I have more friends overseas than I do in my home country. I think it is because I'm always travel (usually 1-2 times a month). I'm here to make friends so we can share our experiences of the world and potentially travel together. Additonally, I'm always up to meeting anyone that comes to my area. DC has a lot of great restaurants, sites and bars!

Interests

My passion is traveling. I do it very often have had some great experiences along the way. I love to go to the gym and work out. I usually hit the gym 4-5 times a week. I try to work out when I'm traveling but it is usually hard. If you see me in your area or can host me sharing some great gyms would be very helpful. I love food so I really enjoy taking the local foods of where I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music but prefer Soca and R&B. I can typically read anything travel referenced.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Zip lining in Costa Rica

Rode in a small boat down the Panama Canal. While on the boat, pulled over and fed monkeys right out of my hands.

I've hiked an active volcano in Guatemala and held hot lava rocks from its previous eruption!

Climbed the Teotihuacan Pyramids just outside of Mexico City. The worlds third largest pyramid!

Stood alongside the largest swimming pool in the world located in Algarrobo, Chile.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you or help you with your English as long as you share the same of your language (I love learning various languages). I want to learn all about your living in the area I visit. I can share many travel experiences I've had from good to bad.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some great drinks (I've been told I should be a bartender). Amazing and some not so amazing stories of travels around the world. Maybe cook a nice meal.
