ABOUT ME

I am an extroverted person who is willing to get to know new people of other cultures and countries. I am quite fluent with english language and willing to take care of those who wanna stay at my place as much as I could. They will not regret staying with me. I will give them all the tips and advices they need that my city has to offer :) Although I work during whole day, i sure can be with you after work in the weekdays. I can pay more attention to you esp. at the weekends. Actually i can even drive you and take you to different places in the city center. I really enjoy being somebody else's guide.

PHILOSOPHY

I have hope of a better, wealthier and more open-minded world. I am hoping to travel more often, get to make more and closer friends from different cultures, complete my master's degree thesis and become a respectful lawyer. I really think that people are not supposed to be evaluated over where they are from but their personality.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since i am interested in getting to know people from different cultures, I decided to travel abroad this summer and i was talking to that friend of mine about my plans. Yep he was the one who told me about CS web site. He mentioned that girl from somewhere else who was gonna stay at his house. Since then i decided to participate in it. I thought that was just meant for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I did not find my hosts on that web site, I stayed with that good friends of mine who lives in Stockholm. They did their best actually to take care of me, despite their 4 months old twins. They took me to a football game of their local team and gave all the tips about Stockholm. They actually welcomed me at the airport and let me feed myself in their fridge.

I stayed with local hosts in Bruges and Konstanz i met through Couchsurfing.

Interests

I am definitely interested in new languages, cultures, other ways of living and since i practice law, interested in other judicial systems as well. I like traveling, watching football and I am addicted to Turkish coffee. I enjoy talking about history and movies a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mainly I listen to foreign music rather than the ones of my own country, Not only i enjoy following daily paper but also really value reading boks of different kinds and enjoy going to newly arrived movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in the States for a year as an exchange student and travelled to Sweden and Denmark this summer. I stayed in Stockholm with some good Swedish friends and then stayed at a hostel in central Copenhagen. I had great time.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best thing i do is i think not being embarrassed to ask people about the directions and start a new conversation with those i have never met before esp when i am abroad or at somewhere i have never been before. I would prefer asking people who already have been there or locals of the town for the tips and good advice instead of googling it. Actually some dutch guys i met at a hostel in Copenhagen named a verb after me. They said 'Let's Apo it!' which they use when they are in need of some info concerning a specific subject.
