ABOUT ME

i love to write, poems and stories and novels and nonsense. i love people, tall and short and loud and quiet and fat and thin and crazy and timid and strange and obscure and angry and calm and ridiculous and happy and sad. creativity gets me, street art to the classics, architecture and films and fireside jams. i listen to lots of blues and cat power and dylan and regina spektor and fleet foxes and tallest man, cold war kids, radiohead and the do, devendra and debussy. i play ravel on piano and regina on guitar. i love to make music, sing in the shower the car the kitchen...learning harmonica, have now progressed to dylan on a good day so its getting less painful for those around me. i've lived in melbourne for two years, in a house, in a warehouse, in a van, studying politics and international relations, which i love. speak a little italian and a lot of english, some remnants of amharic and struggling with spanish imperfect tenses as we speak ! i have glasses i never wear, love the colour red, love wearing capes, love to laugh and talk and jive and fingerpaint and ask silly questions. red wine and dark chocolate make me melt. i never wear shoes if i can help it. i am about to hit the road again, on an extended wander through central america, starting in mexico and ending who knows where but hoping to couchsurf my way to wherever that is ! SO keen to get exploring !! i have a beautiful family in australia who i am very close to, younger triplet siblings, mum and dad. i love flight of the conchords and the mighty boosh. i love funny people. i love to smile. well i love a lot of things, it seems. lets meet up and this conversation can become less one sided.x

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

couchsurfed my way around europe and a bit of ethiopia, now exploring central america through this amazing community ! have met up with a few surfers in my hometown of melbourne and hosted with housemates, always a great experience.

Intereses

everything interests me. some things more than others. computers, mathematics, supermarkets and pub crawls rate quite low on the list. music making, beautiful smiles, people with secret talents and hot air balloons swing towards the top.

things i can do? play a bit of guitar, can strum out an enthusiastic ballad on ukelele, a lot of piano, just like a woman on harmonica, i sing too much, dance like a freak, i love to write, can show you lots of good music and love to be shown, read a lot, can wiggle my ears and bake a mean chocolate cake !
