About Me
An East African girl living and working in Milan. Love to meet new people and think the concept of Couchsurfing is a perfect way to do so.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't actually couchsurfed yet, but I find the CS community to be the best in terms of finding easygoing, like-minded people. I've only felt welcomed and at home whenever around Couchsurfers.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Nujabes, Khruangbin, Fat Freddy's Drop, Anderson Paak, Benjamin Clementine, Above and Beyond, Leon Bridges, Masego
Books: Haruki Murakami (Kafka on the shore, Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and his years of pilgrimage), Baraka Sakin - Jesus of Darfur, the entire Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, Khalif Hosseini - a thousand splendid suns, Warsan Shire - Teaching my Mother How to Give Birth, and many more
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my experiences living in the Middle East, Sudan, and now Italy, giving a fresh perspective on each. And more importantly, hear your stories, learn about your life and culture. I think that in every conversation you have with someone new, you end up discovering something unexpected, even in conversations about regular everyday things (or what is mundane for you but you realize it's not so for everyone)
