I read mainly classics, YA lit, and nonfiction, but I'll read anything that I hear is good. Favorite fiction: Les Misérables, East of Eden, Anna Karenina, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Jane Eyre, Dracula, The Road, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Hiding Place, LoTR, Harry Potter, The Book Thief. Favorite nonfiction: The Road Less Traveled, The Anatomy of Peace, The 4-Hour Workweek, and anything CS Lewis or Malcolm Gladwell.

My favorite movies are usually ones that challenge, inspire, or make you think. I especially love the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I also love Christopher Nolan films, particularly Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight, and The Prestige. Others that come to mind are Edge of Tomorrow, Groundhog Day, 500 Days of Summer, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, V for Vendetta, The Fugitive, Valkyrie, Life is Beautiful, Remember the Titans, The Matrix, The Princess Bride, The Truman Show, Dead Poets Society, and It’s a Wonderful Life. I usually like superhero movies and also enjoy thrillers like The Orphanage and The Others.
