my current mission is to explore what Australia has to offer while meeting interesting people along the way!

ABOUT ME

I am a 26 year old female from Alberta, Canada. I completed University in 2008 and am now starting a 4 month backpacking trip with my good friend Alex. Alex and I know each other from working together. We have worked together for 3 years at a Canadian Airline 'WestJet' for the past few years. After realizing our shared dream to travel Australia and SE Asia, we set plans and are ready to jet off! We both enjoy playing the guitar, good conversations with good people, and are looking forward to seeing what this other part of the world has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life with an understanding that life is short and I strive to appreciate each day as it comes. I feel that mutual respect between people is essential in life. Kindness is my philosophy. You respect me, I respect you. It's so much easier to be nice than nasty! Why can't we all get along? Peace and Love :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this time I will be looking to strictly surf while I travel, but plan to open up my couches when I return home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just signed up recently to couchsuring.org - although I have participated in couch surfing before, just not through this website! I met some British friends at a hostel in California, and invited them to stay with me when they visited Canada. They came and stayed 1 week with me for Canada Day. Then, a year later, they were gracious enough to host me in England when I visited.
