About Me

I'm a hitchhiker-traveler and master student in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. I think "I don't have time for the thing that doesn't have soul" as Charles Bukowski said. I'm trying to spend my life in most amazing way, because we have it once, this is the time to live!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be in touch with this society, at the end I'm a traveller, why not :P

Interests

I'm a student so when I have free time I meet with my friends and find something to do, I enjoy my solitude as well. Walking around and thinking is one of the biggest joy of my life. If I have longer periods of free time, I travel, because world is so amazing, so beautiful; not just by physical existence of it, it's potential to create experiences, stories with the other people that we don't know yet. Because experience is the most valuable thing in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Beatles, Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Eddie Vedder, Bob Dylan
Movies: Into the Wild
Books: Alchemist (Paolo Coelho), Jonathan Livingston Seagull (Richard Bach), The Little Black Fish (Samad Behrangi)
I like the ideas of Osho, Krishnamurti, Bertrand Russell, Charles Bukowski

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Okay, it is hard to choose. My top three would be like this:

3. Hitchhiking alone, from Milano to Akaslompolo (Northern Finland) in winter and staying in tent(it is 20 euros decathlon tent :D ) all along the way. Story is amazing, northern lights, meeting with amazing people and staying in their house, and so on... I will tell you when we meet :D

2. Hitchhiking to Northern Russia from Istanbul, with one friend, again staying in tent but this time limited money to experience poverty. Till Saint Petersburg, 18 days, eating just eggs and bread everyday, result 25 euros per person. No shower for 18 days, freaking cold, oh my God it was real adventure!

1. Passing the North Africa with hitchhiking, alone, from Portugal to Egypt (except Libya of course) like in my favorite book's main character Santiago (Alchemist-Paolo Coelho) In Morocco somebody attacked me and stole my phone, and since then I didn't have any map neither Arabic language :D Yeaah, it was the coolest one, when I was passing through villages I was going to internet cafe and first checking the google map "Where I am exactly" Printing screenshot of map, very old school :P If you are interested to listen, I will tell you more when we meet :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Basically our stories is the most valuable thing when we sit and talk. View of life, conflicts inside us, joy, questions, and sometimes answers
