I got the travelling bug bad! It first started when I worked the Edinburgh Festival and toured with my band-family through the summer holidays, and continued as I went to study away from home. I have been teaching English as a second language for about 2 years and have had the opportunity to live in some incredible places including China , Russia and Italy. I love art, theatre, music, cabaret and film. I keep myself out of mischief by reading and writing and I play the ukulele (having failed at many other instruments!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am kinda new to the whole couch surfing thing...I am a hostel/camping kinda person! But this looks like fun and I'm definitely open to the experience :-)

I couched surfed round Boston & New York a years ago and it was wonderful - long term internet friends turned very real and very awesome!
