My friends would probably say that I am very laid back and constantly trying to plan a trip or outing. Not much gets me flustered and easy to get along with.

Keep and open mind, look at things from other perspectives, live in the moment, appreciate the simple things, create memories, and learn a little each day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am yet to couch surf or host, but I would be interested in doing both eventually. Corbin is not much of a tourist spot so I don't know that hosting would even be necessary, but I'd be open to the possibility.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience couch surfing, but I am looking into giving it a try, sounds like it could be a neat experience.

Interests

I absolutely love traveling. I hope to see the world (every continent, and all 50 states) by the time my life is finished. Traveling is what motivates me to work hard and save. I enjoy experiencing new cultures and ways of life whether they be half way around the world or getting to know someone new in the house down the street. I love doing mini research projects about random things and places that catch my attention. I really enjoy my alone time and getting to know myself better. As much as I love my friends and meeting new people I think it is important to know and spend time with myself just as well. In the winter I love snowboarding and in the summer being out on the lake. I grew up hosting exchange students and feel as if I have brothers and sisters all over the wold (9 girls 1 boy), I wouldn't change that experience for anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a wide range of music and genres. Drama and Comedies (Movies). Just recently started reading more, enjoy some fiction, enjoy life stories and travel memoirs, financial and business related reading, philosophy and psychology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experiencing Denali National Park in Alaska was breathtaking. All the animals roaming in their natural habitat really gave awe to the world around me.

Seeing ruins in Europe was absolutely spectacular. It is crazy to see how civilization has progressed over the years, cultures formed, and great structures built before today's machinery.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have my MBA and majored in Accounting. I love to talk and learn about business and finance, but I am also very interested in exchanging travel stories, talking about life in general. I would love to learn another language fluently.
