I am a photographer and a tarveller who loves to explore by-lanes, local coffee shops and getting lost in the culture and commotion of the place I am visiting. I usually do off beat traveling. I love nature, mountains and I love unplanned travel. I may pick up first and last destination during travel planning but I wont plan in between travel with rigour. I let my mood and local inputs decide that bit of travel. I enjoy talks and laughs when I meet unknown traveler or locals...these people really give meaning to my travel. My travel is incomplete without my camera. BTW, I love to write and recently I have taken 2 years sabbatical and wrote 2 coffee table books for state government of India.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to meet new travel buddies...folks whom I can show around my city and also who would inspire me to travel more. I am single so its easy for me to give not one but couple of couches anytime :-)

Interests

Photography : I love nature and wildlife photography the most. Landscapes are my favourite, followed by cityscape and candids
Hiking and Nature walks: I love mountains and the way their colossal size make you forget your life problems
Scuba diving: I am a PADI certified open waters scuba diver
Local Culture: Well, I love it because that makes me look beyond the regular ,commercial world and narrow mindset of people
Local Cuisine: Well, my size will make you realise how much I love it :-)

Movies- Big time into movies. 95% Hollywood & 5% Bollywood. I love intense , thriller movies ...those that need brains. Christopher Nolan is my Fav. Or absolutely fun movies like Kung Fu Panda . I am an animation buff
