Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and hear their stories. I believe that the true joy of traveling would only be obtained by seeing a place with a person who has lived there for a pretty long time.

I have had so many great experiences on this app - from having a blast at the Tomatino festival with m hosts,, surfing lessons in Zarautz, backpacking around Iceland with fellow CSer and sailing around in the Mediterranean.

I pretty much like everything related to being in the water- swimming, surfing, windsurfing.
I also wanna visit all the 195 countries at some point albeit slowly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Helped conduct medical camps in inner tribal settlements in the Western Ghats
2. Got lost at the Arches National Park and enjoyed the excellent night sky with amazing stargazing.
3. Danced at the Jaisalmer Desert camp on a freezing night
4. Volcano hike at Mount Agung, Indonesia
5. Many great festivals
6. The Tomatino festival dripping in tomatoes
7. Drove a campervan around Iceland
8. Travelled around in a motorbike in the remotest part of the Himalayas - the Himalayan kingdom of Ladakh
9. Got the Windsurfing license in Turkey
10. Sleeping in the middle of the Sahara Desert
11.kayaked to some remote caves in the Algarve coast of Portugal
