About Me
UPDATE: we'd be traveling until the end of november, so unfortunately we wont be able to host anyone for that time period.
I'm a 26 year old documentary filmmaking. I do camera work, editing, sound design; my mom's typically the director; dad does scripts. It's an unconventional set up but it's fun.
I grew up mostly in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, with just a couple of years in Port Blair, Andaman Islands. I did my university studies in New Delhi.
We all love traveling, and mostly travel of the rugged, unpredictable kind. Our favorite part of going places is meeting fun people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In all of our trips, both solo and as a group, the folks we met and their kindness is what made the trip so great. People that go out of their way to help three clueless Indians out of whatever situation we're stuck in. I love keeping contact with everyone, and several of them have come to India and spent days with us here.
My hope is that Couchsurfing will continue to help us build these connections. We're more than happy to stay in simple tiny rooms. What we want is authenticity in our travels, mostly staying away from tourist spots and actually being with the people everywhere.
Interests
I'm primarily a cameraman and video editor, but I'm interested in way too many things to list out, honestly. I'm fascinated by different cultures, traditional festivals, antiques, shopping for little odds and ends from whichever places I'm travelling to. I love linguistics as well, and love trying to learn new languages.
