About Me

I’m a native Bangalorean, one of the best places to live in the India. I’m a crazy dreamer and with an insatiable desire for travel and adventure who can never settle for an ordinary life or conform with the norm.

After graduating from uni and ‘selling my soul’ as a corporate slave I started to feel like I was wasting the best years of my life behind a desk working for someone else’s passions and dreams. There had to be more to life than this! That's when I started taking solo travels to realize that the world out there is not as bad as they are projected. I have learnt life lessons during my travels throughout various parts of the country.

Why I Travel

I believe that travel is so much more than simply seeing the sights – that travel, and the things you learn from it, can really change your life.

I travel to grow as a person, to meet others who inspire and educate me and to (hopefully!) do the same in return, to have my life enriched by the beauty and diversity of this amazing world and to have my eyes, mind and heart opened wide.

I travel to make the most of my time on earth, to make every day count, instead of counting down the days till the weekend or to a 2 week vacation – because life is simply too short for me to live it any other way!

But most of all I travel for freedom – to live life on my terms, to be in charge of my own destiny, to give myself the biggest luxury – Time. Time to pursue my passions, dreams and ambitions instead of spending the best years of life day dreaming out of a rain streaked window working all day for someone else’s dreams.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is one of the most vibrant travel communities with people from all over the world.

I want to meet different facets of people to clear all the misconceptions in the world. The earth is a happy place to live. Sharing love to mankind is the basic thing which everyone should inculcate.

Interests

I make it a point to take a vacation to a place where I've never been before... I travel solo to most of the places. I prefer public transport during my travel as I get to experience the local atmosphere even better.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate music of all languages that provides me a sense of soothing and awakening. Hindustani classical music is very close to my heart and I've started learning flute to relate to the music better.

I enjoy movies that passes down a message to the audience about various aspects of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe that I am a guy who does not fear taking risks. I have started a construction firm when I was 22 and executed several projects seamlessly. I do not fear the downs and see learning potential in every situation I am put in.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy sharing my travel stories with all my hosts. I am a really good cook and I can surely teach some authentic Indian cooking to my guests/hosts.

I will learn from every situation I am put in. I want to learn to be as minimalist as possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sharing food is the best kind of fun. In fact, I'll always be happy to cook a meal and try to do so on the very first night I arrive. We shall exchange conversation about food and cultures and learn from each other.

I will ensure I clean up the entire place once I am staying there and will never make a mess of the place.
