Hi, I’m Abhilash — a traveler, storyteller, and social change facilitator from India. My life revolves around creating spaces where young people can discover their potential, challenge themselves, and contribute to positive change. I design immersive learning journeys that take young people far beyond the walls of classrooms, into the heart of rural India, where they live, learn, and work alongside communities creating real change. It’s my way of mixing adventure with impact, and it keeps me endlessly inspired.

Travel is my way of staying curious about the world. I’m happiest when I’m living with local families, sharing meals, and listening to stories that carry the heartbeat of a place. I’ve worked alongside farmers, artists, social entrepreneurs, and changemakers, each one teaching me something new about life, resilience, and hope.

I believe in kindness, shared laughter, and the magic of genuine conversations. Whether it’s exploring hidden corners of a city, photographing life in its raw beauty, or simply cooking together, I’m always looking for moments that turn into unforgettable memories.

To me, Couchsurfing is more than just a place to crash — it’s a way to connect deeply with people, cultures, and stories. I’ve always felt that travel becomes richer when you experience a place through the eyes of those who call it home.
