ABOUT ME

Well, I'm from India but I've lived in Oman and the UK for a number of years. I'm quite a nerd in that I love books and video games and science. I spend a lot of my time looking for new bands and can spend hours just listening to music. I love meeting new people and doing lots of random things. To be honest, I'm bonkers.

Interests

Knowledge is my passion. I absolutely love all kind of knowledge which is why I want to become a scientist and push the boundaries of human understanding. I'm also a voracious reader and love getting completely lost in books for days on end. I enjoy listening to a lot of different kinds of music some of which I have mentioned later. But I think most importantly, I'm a major foodie. I start planning my lunch and dinner before I finish breakfast and for me, good and bad days are defined by how much I enjoyed my food on those days.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a LOT of music. From the classics like Pink Floyd to modern rock like Linkin Park and Biffy Clyro. From The Kooks to the Arctic Monkeys. Right now I think Alt- J would have to be one of my favourite bands. Recently I've started listen to a lot of orchestral and piano music like Mozart and Einaudi.

I read a lot. I love fantasy especially although I read a books from various different genres. I bought a kindle recently, to make it easier for me to carry my collection around and I absolutely love it as it has allowed me to read so much more.

I'm not a major movie buff in that I don't remember the names of directors and producers and other trivia but I do watch a lot of movies. I think I would have seen a large majority of imdb's top 250.
