Overview
About Me
Hi! 👋 I’m Abhinav, a master’s student in Social Management from Gujarat and a part-time traveler 🧳 with a deep passion for exploring India 🇮🇳. What drives my love for travel is the sense of courage, valor, and freedom 🗺️ it gives me. As a social science student 📚, I’m deeply fascinated by the diverse traditions, behaviors, and norms across communities 🌏—especially in rural settings, where sociology and economics come alive in unique ways.
Traveling also helps me grow as a participant observer 👀 and an aspiring ethnographer ✍️. I see each journey as an opportunity to connect with people 🤝, understand their ways of life, and learn from their stories 📖. From the bustling streets of cities 🏙️ to the quiet charm of rural villages 🌄, every experience enriches my perspective on the world.
I enjoy trekking 🥾, exploring local cuisines 🍛, and engaging in meaningful conversations over chai ☕. As a guest & host, I’d love to share my knowledge about Indian culture, assist with academic topics 💡, or cook a traditional Indian meal 🍲. Through Couchsurfing, I hope to build connections 🤗, exchange stories 🗣️, and create unforgettable memories ✨.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I was on a solo trip to Matheran, Mumbai, Maharashtra. There I found an emotionally broke fellow, who had a recent breakup. I found him sitting quite there, while trekking. I started chit-chat with him. He opened himself, that I have been his fellow mate for a long time. This made me "stunned".
"sometimes we just need a push, we made our way out of it, whether, it's hell."
