I am originally from India and have moved to NYC in 2014 to start my PhD in CS at NYU.

I was living in Manhattan during my first year and decided to move to Jersey City last year. I spend most of my time studying and meeting up with friends from university.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was hoping to meet a variety of people from around the world with a rich history and varied experiences.

I have traveled a lot with my family when I was in high school so it would a wonderful experience to exchange stories with people from where I have been and even more thrilling to get stories from countries I have yet to visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been practicing Taekwondo since last year with the NYU club and have participated in various collegiate competitions through the east coast.

I got a chance to compete in the USA nationals and won a bronze medal in my belt and weight category.
