Overview
About Me
I grew up in India and now live in New York, moving between places, cultures, and conversations with curiosity more than a fixed plan. I enjoy travel that leaves room for detours, long walks, and conversations that start casually and go somewhere unexpected.
By instinct I’m reflective, by habit practical. I like people who are thoughtful, curious about the world, and comfortable with a bit of disagreement. I’m equally happy talking about philosophy, history, cities, films, human behaviour or why some journeys stay with us long after they end.
I value humor, presence, and sincerity over small talk, and I tend to connect best in everyday moments- over a meal, a walk, or a quiet evening after a long day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because the places I remember most aren’t as much about the landmarks there in as its about the people.
Couchsurfing, for me, is about shared space and shared time — conversations over dinner, learning how someone else sees their city, and exchanging perspectives that don’t usually show up in guidebooks. I enjoy traveling independently, but I value the sense of familiarity that comes from staying with someone who calls a place home.
I’m here for simple, genuine exchanges, just human connection.
Interests
I’m interested in travel that allows space to observe and absorb; history that explains the present; and philosophy, cinema, and books that ask useful questions about human behavior. I value fitness, but not at the cost of missing good meals. Long walks, cozy cafés, and conversations that slowly open up are usually where I feel most at ease.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I undertook a solo motorcycle journey across the Himalayas and coastal India riding for a month through some of the most remote terrain in India.
It wasn’t about adrenaline as much as endurance, awareness, and learning to be comfortable with uncertainty. Long stretches of isolation, unpredictable weather, and unfamiliar terrain taught me patience, self-reliance, and respect for people whose lives are shaped by far harsher conditions than my own.
It remains one of the most grounding experiences of my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m an easy, respectful guest who values shared time while fully understanding personal space.
I don’t cook much myself, but I’m always happy to help in the kitchen, do the dishes, and take care of groceries or meals. I enjoy sharing food, swapping travel stories, and learning how life works in different places. I listen well, ask thoughtful questions, and don’t take myself too seriously. If you’re up for it, I’m always glad to explore a neighborhood together or simply talk over a drink at the end of the day.
More than anything, I offer presence- a willingness to listen, exchange perspectives, find humor in our differences, and meaning in our similarities. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about what we have; it’s about what we offer.
