About Me
hi im Abhishek and im on couchsurfing because a youtuber (cliche ik!😌) told me it was the best way to connect and meet great people to travel
But i am intrigued by the idea and thought i’d give it a go myself
Im from kerala ,and currently preparing for my medicine post grad entrance which is honestly a mammoth of a task which is why i cant host anyone until 30 of august this year.
But on the brighter side of things. I am planning a solo trip of maybe just a little over a month to europe to experience the culture and people and of course the cuisine (on a budget of course, wouldn’t wanna blow through my entire month’s food budget at a michelin star restaurant)
What im good at is holding down a conversation, share experiences and create a new ones with the people i meet.
One thing i should better at is cooking. 5 years of med school just made me lazy in that department 😅 but im definitely open to learning!
Countries ive been to
🇦🇪 🇹🇭 🇲🇾 🇸🇬 🇮🇹 🇨🇭 🇻🇦 🇩🇪(most places more than once)
Countries i have bagpacked to

I hope to make this list huge and make up for the time i spent studying🙃

What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m traveling on a budget, but I always try to bring something to the table when I stay with someone.
Mostly that means good conversation. I like talking about travel, different cultures, medicine (since that’s what I study), economics, or honestly just random interesting things.
We can talk about my background about India and Kerala — the culture, food, and what life is like back home.
I’d say I can cook Indian food too… but to be honest my cooking skills are still under construction thanks to 5 years of medical school 😅. I’m happy to try though.
More than anything, I’m just curious about how people live in different parts of the world and enjoy meeting new people along the way.
