Overview
About Me
I code. I strive for the balance between farm-life and city-life. Liberal in thought and scientific in approach.
Travels are fun, invigorating and always offer new learings! So far, I have only traveled alone. Relished every single moment of it. Had lot of figuring-myself-out times. And some chill/exciting hippie times. Did not encounter -ve experiences with couch-surfing so far.
Home is not where I grew up anymore. I am fairly brown and from India. Very easy-going and curious.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For new encounters and delightful times!
After my hiatus from CS (due to recent graduation and first year at work), I am back to travel the way I like. Only addition is my partner, Maya. She is new to CS and has expressed desire to experiment with the community. So all the more reason for me to set a good example.
Although our next few travels will be short, we would love to meet our hosts and grab a beer at a local bar. Maybe get recommendations on those local treasures to visit/eat/drink.
Interests
While traveling, I make sure I send a postcard to my place and buy silly stuff from local markets.
Very passionate about science, politics and philosophy. If you are not into it, I won't bring it up. If you are, we will have awesome time sharing thoughts.
The other stuff: Hitch-hiking, reading, writing, hiking, camping, going to concerts and festivals, partying, running, street food hunting, local market shopping, budget-traveling, volunteering, biking, rock climbing, cooking, grilling, kayaking, floating, working out, using public transport especially trains, long rides on a motorcycle....
Music, Movies, and Books
Pink Floyd, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Beatles, CCR, Bob Dylan, The Cure, The Smiths, Led Zep, Eric Clapton, Leonard Cohen, The Doors, Dire Straits.... are just a few!
I listen to a wide spectrum of genres. I also like EDM and trap when it's time to party!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My yacht left me floating in the middle of the Indian ocean for half hour while i socialized with fellow sea creatures.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to be a world-class entrepreneur, then you must travel!
