I am a 23-year-old American currently studying bassoon performance and au pairing just outside of The Hague. Before making my trek to this side of the pond, I worked as a music teacher in a K-8th grade inner city school in Chicago. In addition to playing bassoon, I love to sing and play around on piano (nothing fancy, but I can play a mean rendition of Billy Joel's Piano Man). Other interests include reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, eating all forms of potato, and pretending to be a runner.
