ABOUT ME

All of my previous couchsurfing experience has been shared with my husband but now....I am venturing out on my own for awhile, while Tom explores the wilderness of Tasmania (my home state). I've recently finished my studies in art therapy so as you may guess creativity is a huge part of my life. I love exploring markets and shops for vintage clothing treasures. I love making mess with paint, threads, all textiles, growing plants.

PHILOSOPHY

We love the beauty that the Creator has surrounded us with. We love to give without expecting anything in return. We love to live through eyes that see blessings in eveything around us and hope to gain and give to all that we meet. being in the present, not worrying about the future

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far we have mostly couchsurfed and only hosted a couple of times, but when we stop travelling and have a home for awhile we'd love to retutn the favours!

Our first time as hosts in Jan 2010, hosting Vanessa, ended up with her staying for a few months each year and a great friend!

Every experience has been so good! couch surfing is zeee best invention! when you are weary from travelling and weary of touristy locations couch surfers are a breath of freshness.

explored the world largest cave and then spent an hour watching the incredible bat exodus in Borneo, scuba-dived with a 5 metre (baby) whaleshark in Koh Tao, Thailand. hitch-hiked and couch-surfed around Europe whilst meeting beautiful and generous people. seeing Radiohead in Prague, Moqwai in Florence, CocoRosie in Amsterdam.
