ABOUT ME
I live in Bristol. It's a fantastic city. I'm getting into TV documentary production at the moment. I enjoy it thoroughly, though it's tough work.
PHILOSOPHY
Wisest is she who knows she does not know
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to meet new people through this site, and see a city how a local would see it. I hope after I finish my travels I can repay the favour and offer not only a bed to travellers, but a personal guide to the city, the sights, the nightlife, the people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have travelled in France, Italy and Spain with couchsurfing and only had positive experiences. The people I have met have certainly made my Eurotrip.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy reading books very much, especially while I am travelling. It is like escapism within an escapist environment! A few books I am reading at the moment are:
P.G. O'Rourke's articles
Lolita by Nabokov
Selected works of Isaac Bashevis Singer
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to India is one of the most exciting things I have done. India is a special country which changes so dramatically; north, south, east to west, up and down and around. I loved every part of it and learned so much from their way of life- especially the way Indians live so close together, and sometimes in very unhygienic conditions, yet are some of the happiest people in the world. Their sense of space is so incredibly different from the Western view. I love India and would go back in a blink if I weren't so hell bent on seeing the rest of the world first.
Teach, Learn, Share
My favourite quote from Aldous Huxley: After silence, that which comes closest to expressing the inexpressible is music.
