Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Abigail, I'm from the USA and I love to travel and meet new people. I recently graduated from university with a degree in Chemical Engineering, and will be starting work in July of 2015 at a papermill.
I am a tidy, non-smoker (except for the occasional cigar), who drinks socially, but not to excess.
I'm always up for adventure and am very flexible if things aren't going the way we expect. After all, being upset just wastes time!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite travelling memories are from getting to know the local people of the places we visited. So that's why I'm giving couchsurfing a try!
Once I get settled into my new city in July I'll likely start hosting!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'll listen to almost anything, and especially enjoy live music.
Movies: Any historical drama, classic movies, my favorite is "Sabrina" from the 1990's with Harrison Ford. Not a big fan of action films.
Books: Hamlet is my favorite piece of literature of all time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've jumped from the second story of a burning building... does that count?
I also own a house, which is pretty cool for only being 22 years old.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you all about how paper is made and what happens to your paper after you recycle it. I also know waaay more about tea than anyone should know.
Learn: I'd love to learn about local folklore and traditions, what makes your region unique. I'd also like to learn about different people's world views and perspectives.
Share: A good sense of humor, lots of stories, a meal or two (I am not the best cook), drinks - I've perfected some tea cocktails, good conversation and adventure!
