About Me

Production Operations Coordinator at HBO & Max

Full Sail University alum, with a degree in Music Production.

Born in a big city, but raised in a small town.

I am a night owl and spend a lot of my time reading or playing Stardew Valley; however, I also love the outdoors and wilderness. I enjoy hiking and boating, but am always excited to try any new activities, even if it's only once.

*you will have much better luck requesting my roommate, as he is more active, however, I am still able to host sometimes as well!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Up until 2016, I didn't know what Couchsurfing was. In June 2016, I was invited to go along on a trip for a bike race. After dropping off the cyclist, my boyfriend at the time and I headed another state over and stayed with a host.

This was my first real interaction with the Couchsurfing community and I enjoyed it so much that it inspired me to join myself. It was definitely a weird experience at first, but our host was hospitable, friendly, and did a wonderful job making us feel at home while showing us his town.

I am excited to become a part of such a great group of people and experience travel in a new way, as well as hosting other members and giving them as great of an experience as I have had.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are a few artists I find myself listening to on a daily basis, such as: Orville Peck, Idles, The Regrettes, RTJ, Joji, The Weeknd, Ghost, and Daft Punk. I have no preference of genre and will listen to anything!

Being a hobby writer, I love to read. I read both fiction and nonfiction and again have no preference to genre. I enjoy Malcolm Gladwell's books on psychology, currently reading DUNE for the first time, and really love David Graeber.

As far as favorite movies go, I would say there are too many to choose. I have been learning a lot about the art and have come to appreciate it much more. I honestly love anything from Wes Anderson! I've really enjoyed House That Jack Built, Climax, The Lighthouse, and Midsommar. Working at HBO I am definitely a little biased when it comes to TV 😂

I love video games as well. I am currently playing Witcher 3 and Age of Empires, but have many more I want to play. I am always playing Stardew Valley!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is graduate with my bachelors degree in under two years. It took a lot of hard work and dedication and I'm proud to say I did it! My school was all year round, highly accelerated, and we worked 24hrs. I loved every minute of it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be happy to teach anyone what I know about photography, music, writing, and anything else!

I am open to learning anything new as well as learning more about the things I already know.

I can share my experiences, but I am always ready to hear other peoples stories!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help clean, cook, and contribute to conversation.
