About Me
I work at Starbucks, I'm studying Biochemistry, and I want to see the world! For those of you into personality types, I'm an INTJ, a 3 wing 2, and my love language is words of affirmation ;).
Music is not my life, but I would say it makes up a huge hunk of my soul, so anyone down to make some music would find an easy friend. I'm also fascinated by history and architecture.
I believe in sharing vulnerable love with everyone because each person, city, and culture has a unique soul and a unique story

Music, Movies, and Books
First of all, The Emperor's New Groove is the best movie I've ever seen, don't even fight me on this one. Favourite Comedy: Superbad/Ferris Bueler's Day Off
Favourite Drama: Good Will Hunting/The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Favourite Action: Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Favourite Crime: Ocean's Eleven/ Clue
I tried, and I just can't organize favourite books the way I did with movies, so I'm just gonna toss em all out there:
~The Wheel of Time series, ~A Series of Unfortunate Events, ~Jane Eyre, ~The Odyssey, ~The Blood of Kings series, ~The Books of Beginning series, ~The Hobbit, ~Lovely Bones, ~the Ender's Game series (particularly Ender's Shadow), ~the Selection series, ... honestly, how are all the books I've ever read suddenly gone
My go-to playlist:
Stay Alive (Jose Gonzalez), Skinny Love (Bon Iver), Tilikum (Benjamin Francis Leftwich), The Stable Song (Gregory Alan Isakov), I Don't Feel It Anymore (William Fitzsimmons), Rivers and Roads (The Head and the Heart), My Lady's House (Iron & Wine), Bay of Pigs (Rogue Valley), Drops in the River (Fleet Foxes), Murder in the City (The Avett Brothers), Dear Wormwood (The Oh Hellos), Chrysalis (S. Carey), Autumn Tree (Milo Greene), Dream in Blue (The Stray Birds), To Leave Something Behind (Sean Rowe), Michigan (The Milk Carton Kids), Hold On (acoustic) (Chord Overstreet), Build Me Up From Bones (Sarah Jonez), Wreck You (Lori McKenna), Bloom (The Paper Kites)
* I am also a big fan of ABBA, Shania Twain, and Broadway
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This isn't very amazing, but I do feel this sums me up pretty nicely:
I received an assignment to write an APA style research paper on a certain time period and chose the subject of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as affected by religion, researched both sides, and wrote it. Then decided that the resources I had used had been too one-sided, and asked for an extension so as to find more substance. I spent two months pouring over peer-reviewed essays, historical texts, and religious texts, but felt that my resulting essay had only improved minimally. However, my deadline was up. So I sent it to my teacher, saying I didn't feel it was ready, but it would have to do. I went home disappointed with my efforts and myself. A couple days later, I got my grade back: a 97%. I'm still working on writing the perfect draft.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would really love to connect with whoever would be gracious enough to invite people into their home, but I also understand the very unpersonal need for privacy and downtime. On the whole, I just don't want to make you uncomfortable in your own home.
