About Me
My biggest philosophy is "There are no rules to life [except the ones you create for yourself]". I believe in experiencing life to the fullest and never robbing yourself of the things that make you happy or give joy because of rules other people have set for society.
In addition to school, I spend a lot of my time teaching and practicing yoga. Mindfulness, eating well and taking care of my mental and physical body are a huge part of my life.
Like many people on couchsurfing, I have a passion for traveling and meeting new people. I would love to connect online or meet up if crossing paths!
"When you talk, you are only repeating what you already know. But if you listen, you may learn something new" -Dalai Lama
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To experience the new-ness of life (new people, new cultures, new conversations etc.)
Couchsurfing is an amazing platform to connect with people from all over. By connecting online we better able to teach and learn from each others stories and experiences. By opening up to strangers online I am choosing to give myself the opportunity to make complete strangers into new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything with a good beat that gets people dancing ;-)
Being an English major I do a lot of reading but I would have to say "The Alchemist" is my absolute favorite book
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18 I traveled to India alone to get my yoga teacher training certificate.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am totally up for helping cook dinner, clean up around the house and will always make sure to leave your couch better than I found it :-)
Also teaching yoga is my absolute passion so I would be glad to share my knowledge with you. If you aren't into yoga I'm all up for doing a kick ASS workout together as well
