I am 23 years old and an English teacher in China. I'm very friendly and I love meeting new people from all over the world. I want to learn about all types of people and cultures . I love traveling, reading, rugby, swimming, and talking. I am originally from Los Angeles, but I lived in New Zealand for six months and now I have been in China for a year and a half. I plan to eventually go back to America for grad school but want to explore a bit more first. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to couch surfing but I have heard great things from friends who have done it. I think this is a good way to make friends and have more authentic experiences in different countries and with new people. I am excited to start.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like most music, anything i can sing along and dance to and i am happy.

Movies: I love comedies, pixar and disney, psychological thrillers, and sci fi. One of my favorite movies is Nightmare Before Christmas.

Books: i love all books, if it's interesting, i will read it. Currently working my way through Game of Thrones, reading the fifth book now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived abroad twice, once in a country where i didn't know the language at all.

Went cave exploring in New Zealand to see the glow worms.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I speak Spanish and a tiny bit of Chinese, that i can teach. I can cook some traditional Mexican food too.
