Overview
About Me
I am a young, quiet girl with a big sense for adventure. I'm used to meeting all kinds of people and will give almost anything a try once!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first heard of couchsurfing as a teenager, my family started hosting couchsurfers back home in Scotland, and it was a really cool experience meeting all these really interesting people from various places around the world that were excited to learn about about our home.
So when I started travelling solo in 2017 for the first time, moving to New Zealand and doing a working holiday visa for 2 years. Couch surfing was an incredible way to meet people, wether staying with hosts or just meeting up for coffee or drinks. I've met an awesomely diverse range of people and shared some amazing experiences. I've now used couch surfing for almost 3 years to meet up and connect with travelers wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books
My preferred music taste is definitely in the rock/alternative/heavy scene, but the more I've travelled the more indy, reggae, trans and techno I've come to appreciate as well.
I love reading the kind of books you would probably study in school. Classic authors and books that make you think about society or cultural norms in a different light.
I don't get much time for films anymore, but any Marvel film I would most definitely go to the cinema to see.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived on a remote Island four hours by ferry from Auckland. The island is off the grid and powered mostly by solar energy, with the occasional back up generator in the town. I lived with no power, drinkable water or reception in an old disused club building on a farm. This really put in perspective how much we take for granted in the world today.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer lots of conversation and stories, shared adventures and experiences. I can't say I'm a great cook, but I'm not entirely useless at it and I need to learn. I travel light and don't need much space.
