About Me
Young Adult who loves exploring and learning. I am currently working as a nanny for an Italian family living France. I have taken a break from pursuing a degree in education to do this awesome job. I love kids (I want to be a teacher) but people of all ages are cool too. I am not a partier, but prefer walks, coffee/tea, books, movies, random activities, and learning about other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosting: I cannot yet host, but as soon as I get back to the US I will!
Surfing: I believe this is a fantastic way to really get to know a city. Local people have such great perspectives. Plus meeting people is always eye opening.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can enjoy and appreciate all music. Though I prefer relaxing and haunting melodies to pop music.
My favorite book depends on how I am feeling that day. Today it is Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice.
My favorite movie would have to be The Help or the King's Speech.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent the summer as a camp counselor. The work is 24/7; watching 10 girls at a time! Spent a week in the east corner of Senegal, eating, hiking and showering beneath the stars.
Teach, Learn, Share
My desire in life is to be a teacher, so these three words have profound meaning to me. I believe that life is about exploring and gaining information then learning how to share that information with others. You never know what you can teach to another nor what you may learn from them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share greetings in Wolof, one of the native languages of Senegal.
