About Me

Hey! I'm currently on a gap year before going to the University of Sussex in September to study English and Art History. I'm travelling around Europe and trying to keep a low budget by volunteering in hostels and working on farms.
Exploring Spain at the moment. Meeting new and interesting people while travelling is the best and I'm trying to stay out for as long as I can so surfing couches seems like a great plan!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing to meet new people and stretch out my travelling by saving on accommodation.

Interests

I love to read and go to museums. I also like to socialise and meet new people through things such as travel and sport. I like to cook vegetarian food but have lots of room to improve so like to learn new tips from people I meet on my way. Festivals are my heart and soul - they are where I feel most at home because everyone is open minded and there to have a good boogie ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Cure, The Killers, Lana del Rey, Tame Impala, Pink Floyd, Parov Stelar, Mungo's Hifi, Daughter, Akua Naru, Chet Baker, Ed Sheeran, (a real mixture of music)
Movies: Lord of the Rings, Into the Wild, Pans Labyrinth, The Wall, Trainspotting, The Night Circus, Pulp Fiction, Harry Potter

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiking through the outer Hebrides on my own and exploring the remote areas of the Scottish Highlands. One night I stayed in a bothy but had to walk 6km over wild coastland as the sun was setting - no idea if I'd have a bed by the end, no sign of any humans and a backpack half the size of me. But I made it alive and my dinner had never tasted as good!

What I Can Share with Hosts

England, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland
