About Me

I currently attend classes at the University of Central Florida; I'm majoring in Psychology with minors in Non-Profit Management and Political Science. My ultimate goal is to help people reach their full potential, and I feel that providing people with the right environment and keeping them informed is the best way to do so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love NEW --new people, new places, new experiences, new information... assumedly, you do too since you're on this website.

Interests

Not gonna lie, I spend a lot of time on Facebook, but that's only because I follow a bunch of political people and liberal news sources on there.

I watch a LOT of Ted talks.

I enjoy having thought-provoking conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I mostly listen to, like, Trap/Rap music and EDM. I'm not too picky though, I listen to just about anything (though I must admit, I'm not a big country music fan).

Movies: Big Fish is wonderful. All three of the more recent Batman movies are freaking great. Crazy Stupid Love is literally my favorite RomCom ever.

TV: How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Recreation, Sherlock.

Books: Pretty much all genres, except to be honest, I have begun to grow a little tired of science fiction and dystopian novels since they've gained so much popularity, but I'll still read and appreciate them. From self-help to educating yourself on basic physics, idk I've just read a bunch of random stuff.

Lately, I've been reading lots of traveling books. The Geography of Bliss is an awesome story that this guy who used to work for NPR wrote. He goes to a bunch of difference countries in search of which one is happiest and it's awesome. I'm reading it for the third time currently. 11/10, would recommend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won 1st Place at a state-wide Spelling Bee in the third grade.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a strong believer in the fact that communication is the key to education. I love talking about the new things I learn/have learned previously. I love people talking to me about the things they have learned.

I love being able to communicate effectively with people, and see the wheels turning in their head. It's the best feeling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to buy ingredients to cook things with and make a killer meal with you; I will make/try to make whatever it is that you want. We can sip on drinks and play some horrible music while I/we cook!

I am inevitably going to end up being in charge of a country (or at least with a decent amount of influence) some day, so I am a great connection to have.

I like to solve problems. Hell, I can probably fix your whole life via discourse, and if I can't, I'll still be there for you to talk to... or if you're not that type of person, I can be all nice and quiet and non-invasive just for you.
