About Me
Couchsurfing has been a wonderful part of my past travels as a musician, and I’ve met/ hosted folks in my home town as well. Now I’m beginning to acclimate to my newfound freedom as a software developer who can work from wherever, and I’m excited to find friends with mutual interests as I travel!
I love hiking, walking, biking, Acro Yoga, dancing, learning languages, and trying new things. I’m outgoing/extroverted, though I’ve found that the pandemic has at least temporarily made me slightly more reserved. I’m excited to go backpacking more, I freaking love puzzles, I keep a book of poetry in the bathroom lately so I can make more time for poetry. 😂
I should probably quit while I’m ahead here with this self description. *Wanders off to the next section, singing “getting to know youuuuu”*
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel, I love having a chance to connect with people, not just places. Places become so much more when enjoyed together. When I’m in my hometown, meeting a couchsurfer feels like traveling without the movement. I love learning about someone else’s life/ culture, and getting the chance to share the best of my town. Couchsurfers are community builders, and that's the crew I want to hang with.
