About Me

Hello!
I'm Abi and i consider myself bit of a chameleon, my interests are quite varied and changeable depending on my surroundings! I am also as curious as cat but as shy as a panda bear! Exploring and learning makes me feel so complete, i don't have enough words to describe how refreshing it feels.
I love Psychology and what makes humans tick, i don't read minds but i do like listening and helping others recognise their strengths and work on their weakness.
I'm currently doing a TEFL course (because i feel like i can't stop being a student) as well as working full time in the Human Resources department of the NHS!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because i want to meet new people, who have similar interests to mine but also other interests that may help me to expand my knowledge and curiosity. I honestly believe that we all meet for a reason, it being to heal, learn or encourage. We are all in different life journeys and once we cross each others paths we always leave an important lesson behind.

Interests

So as you see below, I like being busy all the time and learning different things at once. I find discovering and learning fascinating and exciting; but i have to admit helping people is what gives me joy.
Creativity is my way of feeling free, i love anything from arts to film making; watching something either being made or making it makes me feel inspired and happy :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to climb Malveira da Serra( in portugal) watch the hill, seaside and then sit on the edge of cabo da roca and just look to the horizon and appreciate mother nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - To a teacher of languages there comes a time when the world is but a place of many words and man appears a mere talking animal not much more wonderful than a parrot (Joseph Conrad)

Learn- To be patient even when your patience is running low, things happen for a reason.

Share - Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
(Buddha)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my readiness to help! :) I'm all for helping others as much as possible. So don't be afraid to ask as you will always have an extra pair of hands! I can also share my brief travelling experience and my listening ear.
