About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live life without reservations, learning from everything and everyone.
ABOUT ME
I have quite a collection of interests and goals, and I guess It's a bit difficult to sum up my life in a brief description. I love everything from hiking to chemistry to poetry, and I just want to take in the world one experience at a time. People and places are fascinating, and learning and sharing with others is how we grow as individuals and a whole.
Right now I'm a chemistry student, and my goal is to work on geochemistry research - this will let me pursue my love of both nature and science as a career. I want to work toward bettering the world and leaving a positive impact wherever I go.
PHILOSOPHY
I want to see the world and learn how others live. I'd rather collect experiences than possessions, and I want to share what I can with others.
Strive for the highest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently, I'm looking to meet new people and find great places to stay when I travel. As a college student, I don't have the means now to host other couchsurfers. However, I'd love to return the favor in the future when I'm able to!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed a couple of times so far, and have had great experiences meeting wonderful people! I look forward to surfing on many more trips and making friends as I go!
Interests
I like to keep busy, and am always up for a good adventure! Some of my favorite things: Hiking, climbing (rocks, buildings, etc.), exploring, playing and listening to music, science, knitting, running, learning, cooking, racquetball, reading, stargazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some of my most amazing experiences have come from nature. Nothing can quite compare to the breathtaking view at the top of a mountain or the serenity of a backcountry hike. I think the greatest adventure I've had yet was climbing Mt. Hood in Oregon - it pushed all of my limits physically and mentally, but reaching the summit and seeing the view from the top was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. Looking forward to my next challenging climb!
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking: I'm vegan, and love trying a variety of cultural foods. I have plenty of recipes to share, and am open to trying new things.
Music: I've dabbled in a multitude of instruments, and have played piano and trombone for around ten years. I'd be happy to teach a bit or just jam!
Science: I'm currently studying chemistry, math and physics, and enjoy learning and sharing knowledge.
