ABOUT ME
Usually on the move: traveling for work or off to discover a new place and live a different adventure. I love to read, dance and have long talks about almost anything over coffee and dessert. I am a free spirit, curious and passionate.
My husband David is a Swiss environmental engineer. My teenage stepdaughter also lives with us.
We enjoy hosting friends from all over the world, so we regularly have guests at home (around 3 times a month, or even 3 times in a week!). We organize parties and picnics in the summertime.
Due to demanding schedules we've become less flexible in terms of hosting. I also travel a lot so I may be the one currently in need of a couch :-) However when good planning, great timing and irresistible Couchsurf requests meet, then wonderful things can happen!
PHILOSOPHY
Live the present moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've travelled in 5 continents and met CS members in diverse situations. I love discovering different cultures, especially through the eyes of people living in that particular place. I enjoy exchanging stories and learning from fellow travelers. When I'm home and our schedule allows it, my husband and I also host friends and CS members. I've also organized a (smashingly fun and successful) Raclette party ;-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CS has caught my interest after a good friend told me about her positive experiences hosting and also being lodged by CS members. My husband also encountered a CSer traveling throughout Asia and we found his CS experience interesting. Then we tried couchsurfing in Lucerne, Switzerland and we found it a terrific experience!
