Hello there, I'm Abir and I'm from Morocco. Passionate about traveling, meeting new people, and immersing myself in new cultures. It all started exactly 6 years ago when I traveled abroad for two months in India, that trip was so life-changing to me, the things I learned, the people from all the different parts of the world I had the chance to meet and become family with despite all of our differences, it truly opened my eyes to the world. Since that summer I was lucky enough to spend the last years of my life studying, working and traveling abroad.

I can speak fluent English, Arabic and French, and learning Mandarin!

The reason I joined Couchsurfing is to have the opportunity to meet locals and travellers alike and to possibly contribute in one way or another to the country and culture I'll be in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living with nuns and serving them while learning about Buddhism in Thailand.

Scuba diving in Koh Tao.

Doing the Ha Giang loop on a motorbike in Vietnam. (Got into an accident by the end of it, and was unable to walk, but that didn't stop me from flying to my friend's wedding and exploring Bali with friends on crutches 😅).

Going on a solo trek in the Himalayas of Nepal and almost reaching the base camp of Mardi Himal.
