About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm anxious to explore, to see new things and uncover new experiences. There's so much to the world, why stay in one spot?
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Seattle, I enjoy taking life at my own pace and enjoying the little things. I value my friends and a good conversation. I have my wilder side when the moment is right, but who doesn't? I went through life always having a plan, knowing which move would be next. Now that I've completed my core education, its nice to not know what may be next. The 'no plan' plan. I love traveling and making new connections with people from across the world. I'm an adventurer with an interest in the unusual and the uncommon. I love discovering life and all that it has to offer.
PHILOSOPHY
I keep seeing the expression 'life is a journey, not a destination.' While I have no idea who wrote it, it seems to be very applicable to me and my life - I've been through and accomplished a lot, but there is no stopping anytime soon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to the traveler's life. I've been brought to Couchsurfing through my cousin as well as the new friends that I've made on my travels who continue to encourage me onward. I'm going wherever the wind takes me and taking life one day at a time. I will continue to use couch surfing as a means to form new friendships and bridges between cultures. The more I interact with people and have such positive experiences, the more it makes me wish to return the favor to the community for anyone who wishes to visit the beautiful (and not so rainy!) Pacific Northwest.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Limited, but continuing to expand. I've made several new friends in my wanderings who brought me to this site. Their unwavering hospitality rubbed off, and I hope to reciprocate the favor in America by sharing what my culture has to offer.
Interests
I'm a person open to new things. I love adrenaline rushes, nights out on the town, and quite nights with a good meal and a bottle of wine. I enjoy a good conversation and learning about others' ways of life. I thrive with athletics and outdoorsy activities, but I also spend a significant amount of time reading and attempting to stay educated - its an uphill battle. I love a challenge, or being forced to do some serious thinking. Tell me a riddle if you ask to surf my couch. I feel at home in the kitchen, even though I've never been formally taught any skills in my life. I've always wanted to own a dog - one day. A big yellow lab.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read, especially science fiction or fantasy novels. By no way to I constrain myself to those topics, but they're always the most fun.
I listen to all music, but rock, alternative, and electronic are my favorites. Finding new music is thrilling.
Movies are brilliant. Let's watch something. New Harry Potter? Yes, please.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've driven straight over the Swiss Alps and snowboarded the French Alps. Going to the top to check out the view and seeing all those peaks.. wow.
Teach, Learn, Share
This is a good question. I'm going to think on it a little more and see what I can come up with. Until I update this again, there's no limits to what I want to learn and the weird knowledge I might be able to impart. Oh, and I can explain turbulence. I think.
