ABOUT ME

I'm alive. Anything else? Not that I know of. Or am sure of, anyway.
Studying at the Bauhaus-University right now. Or pretending to, at least.
Trying to live my life, even if that just sounds like a stale phrase.

PHILOSOPHY

Somewhere along the line, I've come to the conclusion that I live to arrive. Not at a specific point, or even at a point defined beforehand, but somewhere in between. These wonderful moments, when you just realize that this, precisely this, is it. The reason, the thing that makes it all worth it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One bright May morning I arrived in Boston. I was thriving for adventure, for experience, for personality, for the essence of life itself. In the three months that followed, I found all of that and much more. Thanks to all the great people that hosted me and made this possibly.

Interests

Seeing the world. In the real meaning of 'seeing places I've never seen before, especially not in a travel guide'. Gaining experiences never imagined.
Meeting interesting people - people who have their own views and opinions.
Hanging out, enjoying life and living it to the fullest.
Vintage technology. Just because.

Music, Movies, and Books

trashy independent movies from the 70s & 80s, obscure cult films, even more obscure progressive Rock, Classical Literature (which - to me - means anything written from around 1800 to 1960).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked to Stockholm. Bought a rundown classic car there. Drove 700km south in the blackest night. Left the main road somewhere to find a place to sleep and just parked the car anywhere. Woke up in the middle of the forest on the shore of a small lake and saw the most intense sunrise ever.

I can fix anything. No, really. Cars, bikes, phones, TVs, HiFi, whatever.
Used to make money by restoring vintage audio gear (turntables, reel decks, amps).
