我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

A huge part of what makes travelling so awesome is the people you meet and the sharing of cultures. So far I've been using WWOOF and HelpX and loved it, so I figured I'd probably love CouchSurfing too!

兴趣

Animals (I have a pair of turtles at home that are older than I am and have ridden horses for more than a decade!), outdoorsy things (like going for walks and just being outside in general), cooking (I love feeding people!), travel, active things (anything from lifting weights to playing ball or running around a playground), doing things with my hands (some sketching, building things myself either because its more awesome and probably cheaper)

Also love a good old game of cards, charades, board games, pool, etc! I love learning and mastering new things.

Movies:
Avatar, Bridesmaids, Fight Club, Pitch Perfect, Enchanted, Despicable Me, Frozen, Mulan.
I'm not a huge movie person but if it is cute, funny and/or animated (and possibly meant for children), I'll probably love it!
No horror movies for me though as I'm kind of a big baby and can't handle the scariness.

Books: I really like books that let me see into specific niches that I would otherwise know nothing about (and it can be about anything really, as long as they're interesting!), philosophy (mostly Stoic but some others too), and books that challenge me and make me think (although not too much of this at once!). In particular I like Tim Ferriss for all his interesting experiments and also Herman Hesse because I recently discovered him and think he's awesome.

I love music but I am absolutely tone deaf and have a knack for butchering music and forgetting tunes!

PS - Please don't be offended though if I do not drink alcohol as I am allergic to most types! I certainly do not mind if you drink my share too though :-)
