Overview
About Me
Hello! I’m Abraham,
I’m passionate about learning from others, sharing knowledge, and creating meaningful cultural exchanges.
I love connecting travelers with local communities, showing authentic Ethiopian culture, and facilitating hands-on experiences — from brewing traditional Ethiopian coffee to exploring local cuisine and crafts. I believe that mutual learning and cultural exchange make travel unforgettable, and I enjoy creating opportunities where students, travelers, and locals teach and learn from each other.
When I’m not working on training programs or tourism projects, I enjoy exploring local markets, discovering hidden cultural gems, and sharing stories over a cup of coffee.
I look forward to welcoming you, sharing skills, and learning together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing to connect with travelers from around the world, share Ethiopian culture, and learn from their experiences. As someone passionate about skills development, tourism, and cultural exchange, I see Couchsurfing as a space to create meaningful interactions, teach practical skills like coffee brewing, and learn new things from visitors.
It’s a place where knowledge, culture, and friendship are shared freely, and I enjoy building mutual learning experiences between travelers and local communities.
Interests
I enjoy chatting with open-minded, honest, and free-spirited people. I’m not fond of selfish, arrogant, or overly demanding attitudes, and I prefer connections where mutual respect and equality are valued.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done is create a cultural and skills exchange experience where travelers teach local college students a dish from their own culture, while the students teach them traditional Ethiopian coffee brewing and hospitality skills. It was incredible to see people from different backgrounds learn from each other, share stories, and connect over food and culture — a true celebration of mutual learning and human connection.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge and skills in tourism, hospitality, and cultural experiences, including traditional Ethiopian coffee brewing, local customs, and community-based tourism insights. I also enjoy sharing stories, life experiences, and skills in career development, mentorship, and cross-cultural exchange. Most importantly, I bring friendship, open-minded conversation, and a genuine interest in learning from others.
