I'm a humble guy, always down to earth, funny and happy always. I love staying with people who makes me feel comfortable and i love travelling, meeting new people, making new friends, sometimes i normally feel like a lucky guy by been born in this beautiful nature in Kenya.

Am apermaculture qualified trained teacher and a founder of the farming group call called K5 village project that form as a result of the tripatriate arrangement between the 5 young permaculture farmers from different community thats is kagola,kowino,kaduk,kawamo & kajuang'. The farming group is already registered with the government of Kenya as a Community based organization {CBO} , that has a focus farming programs vision of empowering the community technically, socially and economically through Identification and utilization of available resources for community benefit through Poverty and illiteracy eradication, environmentally management , permaculture and organic farming,education of the disadvantage orphan children's through vocational skills transferred,eg by way of permaculture &sustainable organic agriculture ,tailoring ,carpentry and also applying simple farming methods that can upgrade the community economic status.
We are located in Kawiyavillage on the rural part of Homa Bay county Nyanza province ,We are 20km south Western part of Lake Victoria which lies on the hinterlands of Rangwe District-Kora yo Location. The village has a population of 2000people,one cortage village Polytechnic industry,12Protestant churches, 1 catholic church ,one private school.

At the moment K5 village project, has a High need of volunteers to come and help , we would appreciate and welcome the person who is knowledgeable in the following field as there will be no age limit and they can assist in numerous areas depending on their interests in the project, including:
-Fund raising/Grant writing.

- Helping schools in the area to develop a small school farm so that the schools can be more self-sufficient. Volunteers can help by organizing the project, planting and taking care of crops and educating children about environmentally friendly agriculture and organic.

We had afresh bore hole water for drinks and it is boiled, Or if the volunteer wish to buying water from the near by shop he or she is free to do that,electricity power available and also have solar electricity power as aback-up in time of power black out ,again the volunteer, will live with a host family ,spent time together,cook and share meal together
Kindly feel free when you are with the host family You will gain valuable cultural insight and work intensely within the local community in the time frame of your staying with the host.Volunteers will share a home with a family living at kowuor village, in Nyanza Province in Kenya,it is recommended that volunteers should also bring their sleeping bags.

This is the direction to use when coming to the project ,from Nairobi jomo Kenyatta international air port-take a flight to kisumu international air port, then from there you will finds the host waiting to pick you at the air port to home,we will used the public means to the project site where by from kisumu to omoya shopping centre is 400 ksh then from omoya to project site is 50 ksh !!!
Another possibility is to take a bus (Eassy coach company Or Trans line company) from Nairobi to Homabay town and we will pick you up there at the bus station office, where by we will used public means from Homabay town to Rodi is 80 ksh, then from Rodi kopany to project site we will used motorbike that cost also 80 k

They will have time to get involved with the community during their time of resting , visiting the villagers to learn our culture, singing/playing with the children in the village,assisting elderly, sick and disabled farmers to maintain their fields, that will help volunteer to improve his or her connection with the villagers.

This project would also be suitable for volunteers studying or training in the fields of agricultural management, entomology, Organic pests &diseases control, organic farming, marketing, farming techniques, irrigation and plant nutrition. By joining this project you will benefit from being exposed to various farming techniques in our village and they will have an opportunities to see our good sites seeing tourist attraction sites like bala tedo,Lake Simbi Nyaima, Kit Mikayi Shrine ,Ruma Game Park and also we will award them a certificates of excellent.
